After several turbulent weeks, the parliamentary recess finally arrives, but several texts remain to be voted on.
The ordinary parliamentary session, the period of time during which deputies and senators meet to vote on laws, normally lasts from the first working day of October to the last working day of June.
But the National Assembly and the Senate are playing extra time.
An extraordinary session was opened until August 7 to allow in particular the vote of several important legislative sets desired by the government.
Before the end of the week, three texts should normally have been adopted by both chambers.
