Samsung has found a solution to the problem of data leakage during phone maintenance to limit access to personal information through a new technology called (maintenance mode).
The company said in a statement that it will start using this technology first in the “Galaxy S21” phone, which was released last year in South Korea, while the company hopes to expand the use of this technology to more phones in the future.
This service gives technicians limited access to the user's data, so they do not see, for example, the photos and videos in it, while in return it allows them to carry out the maintenance process for the mobile phone with ease.
The maintenance mode works easily by going to the settings and then the “Battery and Device Care” section, where from there you can choose the mode that enhances privacy in front of phone repairers, especially after many accidents were recorded in which user data was leaked due to maintenance work.
