Peißenberg/Böbing – The almost two-kilometer section of state road 2058 in the Böbinger hamlet of Osterwald is expected to be completely closed until September 12th.
During this time, among other things, drainage pipes are to be laid and asphalting work is to be carried out.
The building authority asks that the construction site be avoided on a large scale
Road users have to take a detour, the diversion via Peiting and Rottenbuch is signposted.
Work is expected to last until the end of September
According to a statement from the Weilheim State Building Authority, the work is expected to last until the end of September.
Depending on the weather, the rest of the road construction work should mostly be carried out with traffic being blocked on one side so that the school bus can drive between Peißenberg and Böbing after the holidays.
Those who have the opportunity should drive around the construction site extensively during the entire construction period, according to the request from the authorities.
Costs totaling around 2.5 million euros
The measure, worth around 2.5 million euros, is being financed by the Free State of Bavaria.
The Strommer company from Schongau is responsible for the construction work.
The excitement was great in Böbing, because foam had formed on the Peitnach.
