A murder occurred in the early morning of today (30th) in Central. A 40-year-old local man fell to his death in a hotel room on Hollywood Road, with his feet bound by sheets.
At the time of the incident, the two occupants who shared the room with the deceased left early, and the staff reminded them to check out after they found it. When paramedics arrived at the scene, it was confirmed that the deceased was dead.
Sources at the scene indicated that the deceased was a local man surnamed Chen (40 years old) with a medium build.
The case is now classified as a manslaughter case and is handed over to the Central District Police District Major Crime Squad for investigation.
According to the news, at about 9 pm the day before yesterday (28th), the deceased, together with the 38-year-old American man and another local man, rented the hotel in the upper address, and the American man was responsible for check-in, and then renewed the lease. , originally scheduled to check out until noon today.
However, in the early hours of the day, the American and the local man left one after another. The hotel staff reminded them to check out. The local man left in a hurry, while the American told the staff that the deceased was in a coma in the room.
After investigation, the police found that the deceased's feet were bound by sheets, and suspected drugs were seized in the room.
Saromines, a 38-year-old American with a Hong Kong identity card, was arrested on the spot. The police later arrested another local man surnamed Liao (44 years old) in Lei Tung Village. He has been detained for investigation.
The body of the deceased was transported away by the workers.
