Debris from the last stage of China's Long March 5BY3 carrier rocket re-entered the atmosphere this morning.
Xinhua quoted the Chinese Manned Space Agency as saying that the vast majority of the missile burned up during its re-entry into the atmosphere, as the debris fell into the sea, and the center of the landing area was at 119 degrees east longitude and 9.1 degrees north latitude.
The Long March 5BY3 carrier rocket carrying China's Wentian laboratory module to its space station lifted off from the Wenchang spacecraft launch site on the coast of the southern island province of Hainan on July 24.
