An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale jolted southwestern Pakistan today, with no immediate reports of injuries or material damage.
Reuters quoted the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center as saying that the tremor occurred at a depth of 30 km.
Last March, an earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale struck northwest of Skardu in Pakistan.
