A member of the Russian State Duma from the Republic of Crimea, Mikhail Sheremet, confirmed that the decision of the Vladimir Zelensky regime to evacuate residents of occupied areas in the Donbass is a new trick of his.

Sheremet told RIA Novosti news agency in a statement today that the Kyiv regime decided to plot a new trick, as it will lure residents from Donbass by creating unbearable conditions for life, and then forcibly send them to the front, calling on the Kyiv regime to stop shedding crocodile tears on the residents of Donbass.

"Kyiv has done and is doing everything to turn Donbass into a scorched land, and if it weren't for Russia, its plans would have been crowned with success long ago," Sheremet added, noting that all that Zelensky's regime can do now is withdraw its forces, end the occupation and stop the aggression on Donbass.

Sheremet stressed that Russia will not leave the residents of Donbass face to face with problems and will restore gas and electricity supplies to all affected areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.
