The number of flood victims in Iran has risen to 61, while the number of missing has reached 32.
Fars news agency quoted the head of the relief and rescue organization of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, Mehdi Valipur, as saying that "with the discovery of more bodies that have been exposed to accidents due to floods in recent days, the death toll from torrential rains in the country since last week has risen to 61," noting that 32 people were considered Missing.
Walipur indicated that rescue operations are still underway in some areas affected by floods and torrential rains, including in Firuzkoh.
And a previous toll indicated yesterday that 56 people were killed and 18 others missing due to torrential rains in Iran.
