At the beginning of his career in the field of events, Ido Gonen was somewhere in 2006, when he started playing in musical ensembles at weddings, bar mitzvahs and various events.
Nine years later, after "he was tired of being someone else's screw", according to him, he opened the Stringle company with a partner, which provides musical ensembles in various styles for receptions at events.
We talked to Ido about Stringel and the world of events after he won a free article in B144's special activity, in which we asked business owners from the events field to tell us about an unforgettable event in which they took part.

Ido, how did you come to this world?
"I have been in the field of events since 2006, playing at all kinds of weddings and events. I started in various ensembles of others until in 2015 I set out on my own - I started playing with another partner and we slowly expanded the business. Not long ago we parted ways and I am currently the sole owner of Stringle."
What sets Stringel apart from the competition?
"The many musical styles that we have, the types of instruments and the ensembles. We match each customer who comes to us with the vehicle precisely, according to the musical styles he likes, the amount of audience and the type of event."

What styles are most popular?
"Greek, people really like it. In addition, Israeli and Egyptian mainstream are also going strong, as well as Mediterranean. The market has changed, it wasn't always like that. In the past, at receptions, they would mainly ask for jazz or bossa nova, but today people want them to be happy." .
Do you have a sense of satisfaction from work?
"Any job can be abrasive, but the plus in our field is that you get feedback - you see people having fun, dancing, singing. It's great fun."
Where do most customers come from?
"Most customers come through Google or word of mouth, after taking part in events where they played and were impressed."
Can you tell us about an event you will never forget?
"It was a particularly moving wedding, chapter two of couples who were widowed from their previous partners. I remember that the woman's first husband was killed in a car accident. They entered the canopy accompanied by their children and it was very emotional."
