The branch of the Union of Journalists in Lattakia and Al-Hasakah Governorate honored today the outstanding students who obtained advanced ranks in the secondary and basic education certificates.

The honoring in Latakia included 24 male and female students of journalists. The head of the Journalists Union branch, Ibrahim Shaaban, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that this initiative is an annual tradition to congratulate the families of fellow journalists and share their joy with their children's success as an expression of hope for a prosperous future.

The representative of the Director of Education, Assistant Engineer for Vocational Education Affairs, Nawar Riahi, said that honoring outstanding students is an encouragement for our children to continue their studies and educational attainment, and motivates future generations to approach excellence and science.

Nour Nadim Omran, a member of the Union of Journalists and the mother of the honored student, Yasmine Jumaa, considered that honoring is an important step for the outstanding student to encourage him to provide the best, broaden his horizon, and set a greater goal that he seeks, hoping that these initiatives will be generalized in all unions and unions.

Nadia Zuhair Issa, the daughter of journalist Zuhair Issa, excelled in high school. She described her success as the fruit of a phase full of fatigue and difficulties that culminated in success, noting this initiative, which motivates her and the students to exert more effort to achieve the best results.

The two students, Jana Sultan and Juri, expressed their feeling of joy and pride for being honored for their success, calling on all students to strive hard and set excellence as a goal they strive for.

In Al-Hasakah, Governor Dr. Louay Sayoh confirmed during the honoring ceremony in the governorate building that the difficult conditions that Al-Hasakah is going through and the continuous violations it suffers from “Qasd” militia did not prevent its sons from excelling and obtaining advanced positions at the level of Syria.

The Governor praised the efforts made by the Education Directorate to make the educational process successful through continuity, follow-up and concern for the future of students and students, stressing that the educational process will return to normal throughout the governorate.

The honored students expressed their pride in obtaining distinction, excellence and honor, which holds them with a new responsibility to continue success and excellence and complete the science journey, noting the role of parents and educational and teaching staff for their keenness to secure the study environment and the requirements for success and excellence and to complete the science process.

Those with outstanding achievers indicated that the honor reflects the interest that the state and its institutions attach to excellence and success in a message against all those who bet on obstructing the educational process and stopping the wheel of science through the continuous violations of the “Qasd” militia against students and students and its seizure of schools and their transformation into military headquarters.

The honoring was attended by the Secretary of the Al-Hasakah branch of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, Eng. Turki Aziz Hassan, and the provincial police chief, Brigadier General Mahmoud Junaid.
