Y·PARK [Lin·District], a garden waste recycling centre in Tsang Tsui, Tuen Mun, has been in operation for over a year.

The park is equipped with a resource center, woodworking classrooms, upcycled product display areas and outdoor recreation areas.

The guided tour group in Y·PARK has reopened for reservations. There are 3 groups a week, each with a quota of 15 people. The guided tour group on Saturday will have another 1.5-hour workshop. Read clearly.

【1】Resource Center

The resource center sets up a number of panels to introduce the forms and applications of local recycled trees, wood processing methods, and to display upcycled wood products made by local wood artisans, so that visitors can understand the various applications of local recycled wood.

【2】Woodworking Classroom

Woodworking classrooms allow visitors to experience the upcycling of recycled products first-hand.

【3】Upgraded product display area

The area showcases the works of different local carpenters, including "Mangosteen" and wood flower bottles reproduced through the Peach Blossom Recycling Project.

【4】Recycled product production area

The "Recycled Product Production Zone" separates the garden waste collected from various parts of Hong Kong into tree trunks, branches and non-wooden garden waste, and then processes them to produce different recycled products.

[5] Recycled product storage and to-be-distributed area

The "Recycled Product Storage and To-be-Distributed Area" is used to store the processed recycled products. This area is also equipped with drying equipment to dry the recycled products.

【6】Garden

The wall displays different recycled products of Y•PARK [Forest District], some of which are recycled from Christmas trees and peach trees.

Visitors can relax in the garden, and it can also be used as an outdoor large-scale wooden art production and display site.

【7】Outdoor leisure area

The outdoor area showcases wood art and public art works by different artists, such as "The Big Bad Ghost", carved from recycled trees.

Concerts and yoga events have also been held in the area.

Tuen Mun Y·PARK processes 30 tons of garden waste a day to make wooden planks and wood chips for reuse. It is also useful for Tuen Mun Sludge Incineration Park T.
