A deforested area was on fire late Sunday afternoon in Kollersdorf (Markt Nandlstadt).

In addition to three fire brigades, two farmers were also on duty.

– On Sunday afternoon, rootstocks, branches and Co. were on fire in an area of ​​around 2500 to 3000 square meters of forest floor when the Nandlstadt, Baumgarten and Moosburg fire brigades were alerted to Kollersdorf (Nandlstadt market) at 4:23 p.m.

Two farmers provide important help: fire quickly under control

It is thanks to the quick intervention of the fire brigades and the courageous intervention of two farmers that the fire did not spread any further: The fire brigades were supported in the extinguishing work by two farmers, who quickly distributed large quantities of water at the source of the fire with their large slurry tankers .

So the fire was quickly under control.

According to the Moosburg police, there is “no information yet” about what caused the conflagration.

The damage is estimated at around 1000 euros.
