The chairperson of the Zionist Spirit, Ayelet Shaked, allocated a limited budget of only about one million shekels for the first month of the campaign, so told Walla! At the same time, Shaked and Handel have been examining possible candidates for the crocheted slot in the list, for which they have retained third place.

Among others, names such as Avraham Lifshitz, an educator who was head of the state religious education administration in the Ministry of Education and secretary general of Bnei Akiva, or Yoram Cohen, former head of the Shin Bet, came up.

The name of Racheli Frankel, the mother of Naftali, one of the three boys kidnapped and murdered in 2014, also came up in conversations in the Zionist spirit.

Uncertainties surrounding the state of the party and its ability to pass the blocking percentage make it difficult to recruit candidates for the list.

Last week Yamina chairman Ayelet Shaked and Derech Eretz chairman Yoaz Handel announced the unification of the parties in the elections to the 25th Knesset, and the party will be called "The Zionist Spirit".

Handel will be placed in second place on the list and Hauser in fourth place. The parties have agreed to act as a joint faction after the elections and manage the coalition negotiations together, if they pass the blocking percentage in the upcoming elections.

The members of the party, which is expected to be called by a new name, will not disqualify Likud chairman Benjamin Netanyahu as the head of the government, but are expected to call for a broad unity government that will be formed together with the Likud.

The reaction of the Zionist spirit: "The division of the party's internal budget is its sole concern.
