Arkia pilots went on strike this morning (Monday) and nine pilots announced a sudden illness.

As a result, the company had to cancel two flights to Rhodes at the last minute.

The Arkie company stated: "We call on the Histadrut to act on the pilots' committee and stop the sanctions immediately. We apologize to the passengers and make every effort to ensure our customers have alternative flights and get to the summer vacation."
