Ingredients
1 as a meltdown attack
150 ml of boiling water
4 units eggs L
½ cup honey
¾ cup grape seed or olive oil, for example
½ teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon flat cinnamon
½ teaspoon of salt
¾2 cup white or wholemeal flour
4 medium-sized cylindrical pears, peeled and cut into cubes
Handful of walnuts for serving - peeled and roughly chopped

Preparation
How do you make a pear and honey cake with walnuts?
1 Heat the oven to 170 degrees (normal upper and lower heat, not turbo)
2 Pour the hot water over the melted coffee and mix well.
3 Put the eggs in a bowl.
Using an electric whisk, beat the eggs well for 2-3 minutes, until an airy foam is obtained.
4 Using a wooden spoon or a manual whisk, stir in the honey, coffee and oil.
5 Add the salt, sugar, cinnamon and baking powder and stir well.
6 Add the flour and stir with a wooden spoon for 15-20 seconds or until you get a uniform and thick batter, but not too much.
7 Add most of the diced pears (keep a little aside to spread on top) and gently mix in.
Transfer to a greased pan.
8 Sprinkle over the chopped walnuts and diced pears that you kept aside.
9 Put in the oven and bake for 35-55 minutes (in 2 pans the baking time is shorter), until the cakes are completely set and a fork or knife inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
10 Remove from the oven, let the cakes cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing and eating.
Kept refrigerated for 4-5 days.
