A police station in Vitry-sur-Seine (Val-de-Marne) was stormed on the night of Sunday July 30 to Monday August 1 by several individuals dressed in black,

Twenty people are believed to be involved, according to our information, and three of them have already been arrested.
At around one o'clock in the morning, the group targeted the police station by throwing four molotov cocktails, and firing numerous mortar rounds at the facade of the building.
One of the police station's vehicles has no less than 56 mortar impacts.

", we are told.
To get out of this attack, which some consider "
coordinated
", the police officers present responded with LBD fire and tear gas canisters.

After repelling the attackers, the agents decide to pursue them in one of the cities located nearby, specifies one of our sources, before being again targeted by "
numerous
" mortar fire and molotov cocktails .
At the scene of the attack, a homemade device to hold a mortar in the direction of the police station was found hanging on a barrier, we are told.
No one was physically injured, but two police officers from the Anti-Crime Squad were arrested for seven days due to tinnitus which occurred during the attack.
Investigations are continuing to find the perpetrators.
The facts took place in Vitry-sur-Seine, south-east of Paris.
