About 10 wigs, intended for cancer patients, were stolen from the Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.
The wigs were donated by recovering women who no longer needed them, and their value can reach tens of thousands of shekels.
The hospital found out today (Monday) about the unusual event after a patient went to the wig room to get one and discovered that they were all missing.
The medical center stated that they have no information on who took the wigs and when.
"We would be happy to receive a donation of wigs for the patients," the message reads.
Those interested in donating a wig can contact Eilat Pincus Shapira, the operations manager of the oncology system, by phone at 03-6947628 or by email at ayeletps@tlvmc.gov.il.

Prof. Ido Wolff, director of the oncology unit in Ichilov, said: "We never imagined such a situation that wigs donated for cancer patients who are recovering would disappear from the barbershop. We are immediately preparing to continue the volunteer barbershop activity and are calling for those who can donate wigs for the patients."
