At the conclusion of the 7th Army Show Jumping Championship, Aya Hamsho is a champion for the grand prize

The jockey Aya Hamsho was crowned the Grand Prix of the Seventh Army Equestrian Show Jumping Championship, which concluded its competition today on the grounds of Al-Basel Club in Al-Dimas in the countryside of Damascus.

The jockey Hamsho won the Grand Prix title after winning first place in the “Big Tour” upper category competition for a height of 145 cm, which was held for two asymmetric runs. Laith Al-Ali came third with a time of 45.30 seconds with four errors.

In the medium category “Medium Tour” for a height of 130 cm, the competitions took place in a race and a penalty shootout, for which thirty percent of the first half qualifies according to the best results recorded. It was followed by the jockey Ghaly Al-Zeibaq with a time of 52.62 seconds.

The championship title for the minor category “Small Tour” for a height of 120 cm, which was held in two rounds, the first is an original and the second is a differentiation round for the equalizers for the first place without errors. In the runner-up position, in a time of 39.30 seconds, followed by the jockey, Mira Al-Khouli, in a time of 24.41 seconds.

At the end of the matches, the champions of all categories were crowned with the championship, namely Jawad Al-Ahmad in the Ama Tour category, Shorouk Al-Masry in the mini-tour category, Al-Hassan Al-Naqari in the children’s category, Tim Diab in the preparatory category, and Nassar Kahoul in the Traffic category.

The final matches were attended by Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Eng. Hussein Makhlouf, Minister of Health, Dr. Hassan Al-Ghabash, President of the General Sports Federation, Firas Mualla, and Director of the Department of Physical Preparation and Sports in the Army and Armed Forces, Major General Mohsen Al-Abbas.

It is noteworthy that the jockey Qutaiba Al-Daghli was crowned the title of the upper category “Big Tour” in the championship version last year.
