Austin School, located in Tsim Sha Tsui and adopting an international curriculum, was established in May this year and has been approved by the Education Bureau to enroll new students in August 2022.

The school is characterized by small class teaching. The curriculum integrates the British National Curriculum and Cambridge International Inquiry Learning. It focuses on students' language foundation and implements a reading priority plan in the school to cultivate students with an international perspective who are bilingual in both Chinese and English.


Austin School is a registered British Cambridge International School, Cambridge Senior International Secondary School, and a registered assessment center (Cambridge Assessment International Education), authorized to implement the British Cambridge International School curriculum, including the internationally recognized IGCSE curriculum and the proposed A- LEVEL courses allow students to connect to the UK or study in other countries in the future.

The school has primary and secondary schools, offering courses from grades 1 to 13 (applications for grades 12 to 13), so that students can go to school through one-stop.

The Primary School focuses on Chinese, English, Mathematics and Science, with Humanities, Information and Communication Technology, Fine Arts, Music, French, and Physical Education, Society, Health and Economics.

Austin School participated in the "28th Hong Kong International Education Fair" enrollment on July 9th and 10th.

Students in grades 10 to 11 in the secondary school will take the IGCSE course. In addition to the three core subjects of English, mathematics and science, the school offers more than 20 subjects in different areas for students to choose from.

As for grades 12 to 13, the school is applying to the Education Bureau for the A-LEVEL course, which will offer more than 20 subjects.

The whole school adopts inquiry-based learning and incorporates the characteristics of the British national curriculum. Ninety percent of the teachers have received British international education training, and the founding principal, Steven Wilson, has more than 20 years of teaching experience.

Principal Steven Wilson said that in addition to inquiry-based learning, the school also attaches great importance to students' language development, especially reading.

Therefore, the on-campus curriculum takes Chinese and English as the core subjects, and the other liberal arts subjects allow students to learn multiple languages.

The Chinese class will combine classroom and reading, with the reading priority plan, and the school library will provide a large collection of books for students to borrow to encourage students to develop daily reading habits and lay a solid foundation for Chinese.

At the same time, the school has a team of teachers to take care of students with special learning needs (SEN).

In terms of school facilities, the school building is located in Hao Zhao Nian Xing, Tsim Sha Tsui, covering two floors, with classrooms, activity rooms, laboratories, library, fitness room and auditorium.

The school also plans to arrange for students to use off-campus venues to play various sports, such as tennis, basketball, hockey and track and field at King's Park Park near the school.

At present, the school has been approved by the Education Bureau to open grades 1 to 11 from August 2022. The tuition fee for the 2022 school year will range from $154,990 to $195,000; an annual establishment fee of about $75,000 is required; the tuition fee for grades 12 to 13 is yet to be approved by the Education Bureau .
