The Rottach-Egern ski club was not deterred by the weather forecast and celebrated its forest festival despite everything.
It was worth it.
The guests came in large numbers and the atmosphere was great.
Rottach-Egern
- For three days - Friday, Saturday and Sunday (29th, 30th and 31st July) - the ski club invited to its traditional forest festival in Enterrottach.
After the sky held a few raindrops ready on Friday, the members were luckier with the weather the following day and beamed with the sun.
In the end, Ski Club chairman Albert Meier was satisfied with all three days of the festival: "It was a sensational forest festival."
As always, visitors came in droves.
Among them were many former and current ski racers, including Viktoria Rebensburg.
So the courage of the organizers paid off.
