The former Egyptian intelligence agent, Major General Muhammad Rashad, affirmed that the Syrian Arab Army is the pride of the Arab nation and an integral part of the Arab defense strategy, praising the great sacrifices it made for the sake of the nation's freedom and unity and in defense of the people and state institutions.
Major General Rashad said in an exclusive statement to SANA reporter in Cairo on the occasion of the seventy-seventh anniversary of the Syrian Arab Army’s Day that “the Syrian Arab Army is an authentic part of the Arab defense strategy and a true companion to the Egyptian army, as they fought the Israeli enemy in the October Liberation War and defended sovereignty and truth and achieved military victories.” The Syrian Arab Army is considered one of the armies that has a high degree of excellence, efficiency, high combat doctrine and patriotism.
Major General Rashad added that in light of the stability that Syria is experiencing today, compared to the first years of the crisis, the Syrian Arab Army will be the main factor in liberating all Syrian lands under the American, Turkish and Zionist occupation, pointing to the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army in the face of cosmic conspiracies thanks to its steadfastness and valor in advance to the world. In Lebanon, the deputy head of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party, Wael al-Hasani, confirmed that the Syrian Arab Army had written the most wonderful images of sacrifice and redemption in its war on terrorism and its defense of the unity and independence of Syria.
