Red alert in the Sénart forest sector this Monday at the start of the afternoon.
According to our information, several fires started around 2:30 p.m. along the RN 6, which borders the Sénart forest, on the Brunoy side.
Five parcels would be affected.
According to a source at the National Forestry Office (ONF), "the fires are under control or in the process of being under control".
However, many fire engines are deployed in the area.
According to our journalist present on site, several firefighters rushed into the very heart of the forest to ensure that the flames did not spread to the heart of the massif.
The intervention of the police does not currently lead to traffic interruption on the RN 6.
In October 2018, a very serious fire had ravaged nearly 57 hectares in the forest of Sénart.
