In Bavaria, a 32-year-old hiker from Salzburg had a fatal accident.

The hiker who had an accident in Bavaria is the well-known author and comedian Jad Turjman.

This was announced by the Austrian Residenz-Verlag.

Turjman, who comes from Syria, has lived in Salzburg since 2015 and also has Austrian citizenship.

The 32-year-old made a name for himself with the book “When the jasmine emigrates.

The story of my escape”, he also appeared as a comedian with the solo program “The refugee you trust”.

Friends, companions and companions are dismayed, among other things, on his Facebook page.

"I'm stunned," said publishing director Claudia Romeder in an email from Residenz-Verlag.

Turjman deeply impressed her with his warmth, his way of writing and how he dealt with the problems in his life.

The paradise in Bavaria attracts numerous hikers and mountaineers year after year - but unfortunately there are always serious accidents.

This was also the case on Friday evening, July 29, when a 32-year-old man from Salzburg fell and could only be recovered dead.

As the police reported in their press release, the accident happened on Friday evening when the 32-year-old climbed down the Pflugtalsteig from Hohen Göll.

According to reports, the young hiker from Salzburg's Flachgau left the path and then fell down a rock face, 50 meters down.

After he failed to show up at the agreed meeting point on the Scharitzkehlam, a friend who had been waiting for the Salzburger there called the rescue services.

On the night of Saturday, July 30, around 1:30 a.m., search parties from the mountain rescue service and the police were able to find the man who had died.
