Graduation of a new batch of Internal Security Forces officers at the Police College in Damascus

Damascus, SANA- The Ministry of the Interior has released a new round of police officers today, as part of its policy to develop and supplement the security forces.

Today, the Ministry of Interior launched a new round of police officers, as part of its policy to develop and supply the Internal Security Forces with new cadres and modernize its structure.

In a speech during the graduation ceremony held at the Police College in Damascus, Interior Minister Major General Muhammad al-Rahmoun said: The Syrians are determined to complete the victory plaque, and their determination will not be satisfied unless the last terrorist is driven off their land to return as it was the country of security and safety.

Major General Al-Rahmoun added: The graduation of this course coincided with the seventy-seventh anniversary of the establishment of the Syrian Arab Army, which over time formed the fence of the nation and fought heroic battles in defense of its dignity and sovereignty, indicating that the Internal Security Forces were the strong backup for the army in the face of gangs of terrorism and criminality.

Minister Al-Rahmoun indicated that the graduates have been prepared and rehabilitated physically and behaviorally and provided them with the qualitative skills necessary to enter the field of honor, giving and honesty through their optimal performance of their security and service tasks in a manner that preserves the rule of law, protects the rights of citizens and preserves their dignity and freedoms.

Major General Al-Rahmoun called the graduates to be a place of trust for the citizens, a safe haven for them, an example of military discipline and morals in obeying their superiors and an example of effort, sacrifice and giving, wishing them success in their practical life and their field performance in the service of the people and the country.

For his part, Director of the Police College, Brigadier General Radwan Daboura, explained that the graduates were provided with knowledge, combat experience and modern qualitative capabilities to be ready to participate with their colleagues in performing their sacred duty in serving the citizens, meeting their needs, defending the homeland and sacrificing for it at all costs.

A number of graduates affirmed their readiness to carry out all the national tasks entrusted to them and their high readiness to be the watchful eye on protecting and defending the homeland and providing security for the citizen, promising their countrymen that they will be a real supporter of the Syrian Arab Army.

The graduation ceremony included a military parade, swearing-in ceremony for the graduates and the presentation of certificates of appreciation and gifts to the first graduates and the families of the martyrs, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Interior, Head of the Political Security Division, directors of central departments, a number of officers and a crowd of graduates' families.
