Höfen: small plane crashes into a residential building

Reutte - On Sunday afternoon, a German small plane crashed and hit the roof of a residential building in Höfen.
Both occupants are seriously injured.
According to the Tyrolean police, the plane, in which the 54-year-old German pilot and his 56-year-old wife was located, took off northeast from Höfen Airport in the direction of Reutte.
According to eyewitness reports, the small aircraft lost a considerable amount of altitude immediately after takeoff at around 3:17 p.m., began to sway, crashed and crashed into the roof of the house.
Due to the violent impact, the machine got stuck in the roof of the house.
The trapped occupants of the machine are rescued with serious injuries.

The two occupants had to be rescued by the fire brigade with serious injuries.
Rescue helicopters took the pilot to Innsbruck Regional Hospital and the 56-year-old woman to Murnau Hospital.
The residents of the house were not in the house at the time of the crash, so no other people were injured.
The cause of the crash has not yet been clarified and is still the subject of investigations.
The plane, which was a total loss, is secured for assessment by order of the public prosecutor's office.
In addition to three police patrols, 29 men from the Höfen volunteer fire brigade, two emergency doctors, seven paramedics and two rescue helicopters were deployed.
