Many students take advantage of their summer holidays to get into this “odd job” and put some money aside before the start of the school year.
And the experience is not always happy.
In front of the Forum des Halles, in Paris, Arthur, a young man of 18, confides that
“the hardest thing is to arrest people”.
On average, he receives around a hundred refusals per hour.
Some smile at him, others ignore him.
When a family of tourists finally agrees to listen to him, he seems almost surprised.
The objective is to convince of the benefits of an NGO and then to propose “to go a little further”, by making a monthly donation.
