Motorcycle and e-bike collide: Two injured on B318

Two people were injured in an accident on the B318 near Reitham on Sunday.
A motorcycle and an e-bike collided.
Warngau
– As reported by the police, a Waakirchner (49) was on Sunday around 5.30 p.m. on the municipal road from Reitham heading south towards the B318.
At the junction he wanted to turn left onto the main road in the direction of Gmund.
The e-bike driver was already in the middle of the B318 when he saw a motorcyclist on a BMW who was also traveling in the direction of Gmund and wanted to avoid him.
The motorcyclist also attempted an evasive maneuver.
The collision nevertheless occurred and both drivers fell.
The motorcyclist, a 53-year-old from Oberpframmern, slid his BMW across the oncoming lane and landed in the adjacent meadow.
The Waakirchner also slipped his e-bike over the oncoming lane into the adjacent meadow.
Luckily, the two people involved in the accident suffered only minor injuries.
They were taken to the hospital by paramedics, police said.
The two vehicles were recovered.
The property damage is estimated by the police at around 7,000 euros.
There were congestions in heavy traffic.
