Russia claims it cannot accept the gas turbine.
It is becoming increasingly clear that Nord Stream 1 does not have any technical problems.
Vyborg - Where is she?
The most coveted turbine in Germany?
The device may be in Cologne.
In any case, she was spotted there at the beginning of last week.
However, it could still be weeks before the gas turbine is delivered to Russia's Nord Stream 1 - if at all.
The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung
, among others
, reported on this.
It is currently unclear whether Gazprom wants this at all.
Vitaly Markelov, deputy head of the company, said that Russia could only accept the repaired turbine if the EU and Britain guaranteed not to impose further sanctions.
Turbine for Nord Stream 1: Gazprom accuses Siemens
"When the turbine comes from repairs, that allows for an increase in volume," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov recently claimed.
In addition, Siemens was asked several times to repair the device.

Joe Kaeser, Gazprom's supervisory board member, vehemently disagreed.
“It is very convenient to involve a company that is well known in Russia.
Even if it were, that would never justify throttling the gas flow so much,” he said.
"They lie to your face," Economics Minister Robert Habeck told the
German Press Agency.
According to Gazprom, there are problems with three turbines, some of which have allegedly failed several times.
Only one in six devices is currently in use.
Nord Stream 1: "What is happening here indicates a political game by the Kremlin"
Russia had also not throttled the gas flow despite regular maintenance - or it was not disturbed.
"What is happening here points to a political game by the Kremlin: The thumbscrews are being tightened more and more to keep prices and the pressure on local politicians high," said energy expert Georg Zachmann.
The gas turbine, which may still be in Cologne, is therefore not even technically necessary.
There is also another pipeline that runs through Ukraine and still has free capacity,

There had previously been discussions about the export from Canada.
Ukraine was upset that Germany was not complying with sanctions against Russia.
