A few minutes before dying

overwhelmed by a train in transit

at Riccione station yesterday morning, Giulia and Alessia Pisanu, 17 and 15 years old, sisters of Madonna di Castenaso nel Bolognese, had spoken on the phone with their father to reassure him that they were returning home .

This is what emerged from the various testimonies that the railway police are collecting about the hours preceding the death of the two girls.

Among these also that of a 24-year-old boy who yesterday morning, at the exit of the Peter Pan disco, accompanied the two sisters to the station.

The 24-year-old boy who accompanied Giulia and Alessia together with a friend to the Riccione station, after the night in the disco, is considered by Polfer investigators to be an important testimony.

The young man told of having seen Giulia and Alessia, 17 and 15 years old, the previous evening in the disco and to have seen the eldest again outside the club lying on the ground, tired but - to him to say about him - not in a particular state alteration.

Giulia herself had told him that she was particularly tried because she had worked all day before leaving with her sister to go dancing in Riccione.

On the way, from the disco to the station, it was Alessia, her youngest, who had borrowed her cell phone in order to make a phone call to her father.

Her's had run out of her and her sister's had stolen her purse and cell phone.

The 24-year-old would have been tracked down thanks to this phone call to his father.

While the investigations are still ongoing, testimonies of those who witnessed the accident are added.

Stefano, a 32-year-old young man who often frequents the Riccione station on weekends, says he witnessed the whole scene.

"I saw one girl sitting on the tracks, and the other", who turned out to be her sister, "tried to pull her away."

A version that confirms the one reported by other people present.

The witness specifies that the one sitting in the middle of the platforms was wearing "a green dress", while the other was "dressed in black".

The train arrived at full speed and hit both of them.

"I heard a bang, an explosion, as if it were a bomb", says the young man.

"I've been sick all day", "

At the moment the investigation is in 'model 45', a dossier that does not include news of a crime, nor therefore under investigation.

Toxicological tests on the remains of the two girls are also excluded for technical reasons.

On the other hand, a DNA test is likely to fully ascertain the identity of the two sisters, given that the recognition yesterday by the father, who arrived in Rimini, accompanied by his brother, cannot be considered definitive.
