The head of the joint Russian-Indian company BrahMos Aerospace for the production of missiles, Atul Dinkar Rani, announced that there will be no problems in the production of winged (Brahmos) missiles in the coming years.

The Russian TASS news agency quoted Rani as saying today: "Western sanctions have not affected the work and production of the joint Russian-Indian project Brahmos Aerospace," noting that there are no problems in the production of winged (Brahmos) missiles during the next 15 years.

It is noteworthy that (Brahmos) is a winged hypersonic missile produced by (Brahmos Aerospace) and was first tested in 2001 and various versions of it entered active service in the Russian and Indian land, air and naval forces.

The name Brahmos is derived from the combination of the Indian Brahmaputra River and the Russian Moscow River.

It is noteworthy that the first contract to export missiles was signed with the Philippines last January, at a value of $375 million, under which the Philippines will get three batteries over the next three years.
