However, the prosecutor held 25 witnesses, including students, security personnel from the university and employees in shops near the crime scene.
The victim's family and friends also said he had harassed and threatened the young woman after she rejected marriage proposals.
She even reported him to the police.

After only two days of hearings, the court ruled on premeditated murder in view of the clear evidence and the accused's confession.
The lawyers then turned to Parliament with a request for the live transmission of the enforcement, because "even the beginning of the process could provide more deterrence than the transmission of the verdict".
