the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court today (Monday) rejected the police's request to issue an order forcing the woman who is under threats of murder, to enter a women's shelter.
Today's hearing took place after the district court in Lod yesterday accepted the appeal filed by the woman's lawyer, attorney Shadi Kabaha, against the decision of the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court to place the woman in a shelter.
During the hearing, the representatives of the Ministry of Welfare and the Ministry of Internal Security presented a defense outline that was drawn up for the woman, and among other things, that there was an undercover search under security, but as mentioned, the court rejected the police's request.
Attorney, attorney Shadi Kabaha, said: "The message that came out of the court is that a person's freedom cannot be restricted without a legal source."
