A salute of pride and pride for the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army and a token of love and loyalty to their obvious sacrifices embodied today in the form of musical melodies that danced on the opera stage at Dar al-Assad for Culture and Arts in Damascus through an evening revived by the Syrian National Band for Arab Music led by Maestro Adnan Fathallah and with the participation of the Army and Armed Forces Orchestra, to celebrate the anniversary 77 for the feast of the Syrian Arab Army.

The evening, which came in cooperation between the Ministries of Culture and Defense, opened with the Syrian Arab anthem and a minute of silence in honor of the souls of our righteous martyrs, after which the voices of the choir of the Syrian National Band resound to the melodies of the song “Syria, My Love” and their throats and tones crossed the waves of love and passion for the homeland and its brave men. For the land of Syria and its pure soil, the country of dignity and pride, to the tunes of the song “Stand with Proud… Stand with Pride” composed by Muthanna Ali.

“High, high, high” were the letters that echoed all over the theater with loud melodies that penetrated the hearts of the masses with the painful memories of the bloody war that passed on the hearts of the Syrian people from the sacrifices of soul and blood to purify the soil of the homeland from the taint of terrorism and the return of its sky clear and pure from the flames of war. The audience mourns tears for the souls of the righteous martyrs, and a smile of joy smiles on the lips of hope that the future will be more beautiful.

The melodies of the song “I am Syrian and my land is Arab” swayed with the features of love, pride and pride for the band’s youth, to then play the melodies of Al-Shumoukh on the strings of the musicians in the song “Byktob Your Name, My Country” and “Qum Nag Jalaq”, which was presented for the first time as a song composed by Maestro Adnan Fathallah and the words of the Prince of Poets. Ahmad Shawqi.

The band began the evening singing with the song “Kebat Qadamkan” written and composed by the Rahbani brothers, before the curtain fell on the stage with the song “Your Flags in the High, Syria” from the words of the poet Ahmed Qanoua and composed by Elie Choueiri in an invitation to renew joy, heal wounds, restore the soul, and remind the heroism and sacrifices of the army of honor, the protector of the earth. and display.

In a statement to SANA, the Minister of Culture, Dr. Lubana Mushawah, stressed the importance of this celebration and that it is a token of love and loyalty to the soldiers of the Syrian Arab Army, who wrote the epics of heroism, pride and pottery to make themselves shields of protection for defenders of land and honor and protectors of fever. From this point of view, every Syrian citizen owes them the most valuable thing he owns.

She pointed out that on this great occasion, the Syrian National Band for Arab Music worked hard to prepare this concert, which seems simple in its form and great in its meaning. Citizenship and a noble person.

For his part, the Director General of Dar al-Assad, Maestro Andre Maaloula, stressed the importance of recalling all the terrorist incidents that the country went through during the criminal war that Syria was subjected to, and the huge amount of sacrifices that the country and the great Syrian army bled in order to live in safety and tranquility among the regions of Syria, freedom and dignity, which is the starting point. The greatest that prompted us to offer this sentimental deposit to every martyr, wounded and soldier who gave his soul and blood as a sacrifice for his land and honor.
