With the participation of Syria, the Youth Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement discusses youth issues and their empowerment

The Youth Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, which was held in the Azerbaijani capital Baku during the period between 25 and 29 last July, with the participation of Syria, adopted a decision to transform the Non-Aligned Youth Network that was established in 2019 into an international youth organization that adopts the movement’s ideas, principles and objectives and works to promote and prosper youth in countries The 120 members of the movement.

Eng. Ammar Kaadah, head of the Central Organization and Rehabilitation Office in the National Union of Syrian Students, who participated in the summit as a representative of Syria along with representatives of 61 countries from different continents of the world, explained that the summit discussed many issues of youth and empowering them politically and socially and engaging them in development and decision-making positions in their countries in order to practice Their important role in the public life of the Non-Aligned Movement countries.

The summit dealt with several ways of cooperation between the countries of the movement, exchange of experiences, participation in various youth fields and activating the role of the movement in the regional and international arena, stressing that the youth of Syria will have an active role in all cultural, social and development fields on the international and global arenas and forums.

During meetings with representatives of the participating Arab and foreign countries, he reviewed as a number the role of the National Union of Syrian Students, the leader in the country, Syria's efforts in empowering youth and involving them in the political and social public life, and its role in defending its homeland alongside the Syrian Arab Army and the liberation of Syrian lands from the control of terrorists and participation in the reconstruction .

During these meetings, they discussed ways of fruitful exchange and cooperation with various similar bodies in the Movement's countries.
