The relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry is still considered tense.

The Duke of Cambridge's USA ambitions could damage the relationship.

Harry and Meghan regularly cause a sensation in their adopted home of the USA – to the chagrin of Prince William.

The British royal also wants to make a name for himself on the other side of the Atlantic.

Is he jealous of his brother?

London – Two years ago, Prince Harry (37) left his old home behind.

The former senior royal in California has built a new life alongside his wife Meghan Markle (40).

His brother Prince William (40) probably doesn't want to let the fact that he has also gotten a place in the US limelight thanks to his move.

Because Meghan, who was born in America, will be married into the British royal family, many of her compatriots are following the news about the former actress and her family with great interest.

To keep it that way, Harry and Meghan continue to make headlines with the publication of memoirs, TV appearances & Co.

Meanwhile, William and his wife Kate Middleton (40) are pushed into the second row, but the future heir to the throne apparently wants to win back the favor of the Americans.

Like Meghan's confidante Omid Scobie (41) in his "Yahoo!

News column, a source confided in him that Prince William was making big plans for the United States.

"William wants his work to be recognized and have an impact outside of the UK and royal bubble," the insider tells Scobie.

Above all, charity work in the United States should be one of Williams' priorities.

Omid Scobie suspects that a "little rivalry with his brother" could also be behind Prince William's plans.

Harry and Meghan continue to drive the work of their foundation Archewell and want to expand its influence in the United States.

One of the Cambridges' most important trips this year also makes it clear that Prince Williams is looking towards America.

This year's Earthshot prize will be awarded in Boston, and William and Kate will be traveling to the USA in December for the award ceremony for the environment.
