Wolfratshausen – The association for professional integration was founded back in 1987.

The goal of creating jobs for people with disabilities has now been realized again.

The VdK President Verena Bentele and the Bavarian Minister of Social Affairs Ulrike Scharf attended the opening of the inclusive coffee roastery "Yoanda".

"Every euro is well invested here," said Dr.

Ulrike Scharf after a tour.

She pointed out that "Yoanda" is now the 101st inclusive company in Bavaria.

VdK President Verena Bentele came out as a "coffee junkie".

The former top athlete, who has been blind since birth, liked to smell the fresh beans.

“Inclusion tastes really good here in Wolfratshausen,” she praised.

Bentele also called on other companies to give disabled employees a chance.

“Work is meaningful to these people,” she explained.

District administrator Josef Niedermaier sees it the same way.

"I would like to see more acceptance in society, even if it takes a little longer at the checkout in a shop," he hopes.
