Fans of "Love is in the meadow" have been waiting for this for several months: the unpublished 17th season of M6's flagship program returns from August 22.

The adventure will therefore begin for the thirteen singles (nine men and four women) of the promotion with very diverse profiles.
“They have different personalities and will move us, make us laugh, make us think and sometimes annoy us
,” explains Karine Le Marchand.
We thus find, for the first time in the show, a father (Jean-Paul) and his daughter (Emmanuelle), winegrowers aged 70 and 42 respectively, who are both looking for love.
This new season also welcomes a former participant for the first time.
Thierry “rogue of fate”, farmer of season 10 in 2015, is entitled to a second chance.
During his first participation, he had experienced a love story that had ended badly and had plunged him into great distress.

I had been asked to do the show for three years.
I refused because I had to have hip surgery.
As it went well, I accepted.
Since my first participation, I have had therapy which has done me a lot of good.
But coming back to the program is as impressive as the first time!

Alain, a 58-year-old calf breeder, has a moving life story.
Father of two children, he lost everything in a fire before starting from scratch.
After being married for seven years to the mother of his children, he discovered his homosexuality at the age of 44.
This season also has the youngest candidate in the history of the show with Noémie aged 25 and the oldest participant with Alain le Breton, 72 years old.
A dinner with all the farmers
Before the Covid, the farmers met for the first time when opening the mail.
From now on, the participants discover their missives, each at home.
“We have changed since the Covid and in the end there was not necessarily added value
, continues the host.
In fact, there was a real influence of strong personalities on more timid personalities and that could have an impact on the choice of couriers.
There, they are alone with their mail and have all the time they want”

To remedy the fact that farmers no longer find themselves on the program, the production organized, for the first time, a dinner with all the participants of this 17th season in January.
“We bonded, exchanged phone numbers and started a WhatsApp group.
There were immediately chemistry between us all
”, notes Agnès, Brewer who is participating in this 17th season.

Reading the mail before seeing the photos
This year, the farmers have only one desire: to build a serious story, but not at any price.
"They have a great desire to meet someone but for all that, I have the impression that they have all tamed their loneliness and want the icing on the cake but not the cake because the cake is them"
, says Karine Le Marchand.

This new season promises to be thrilling, as always.
“Once again it will be a year full of twists
and turns ,” confides Karine Le Marchand

The chemistry that is created between the farmers and their suitors and suitors is always a surprise.

The host will once again be present during the speed dating during which she will deliver her comments.
She will also come back during the adventure if the participants need to talk to her to solve difficult situations.
Because, as always, the goal of the show will be to create a maximum of torque.
And, in 16 seasons, the objective has been achieved since half of the 186 farmers who participated in the program are in a couple and 66 babies have been born!
