The series of drownings continues: a 95-year-old man drowned in a pool in a kibbutz in the Shaar HaNegev Regional Council - and was pronounced dead.
Towards 4:00 p.m. today (Tuesday), a report was received at the MDA center about a man who was pulled from the water after losing consciousness, apparently for medical reasons, in a pool in a kibbutz in the Shaar HaNegev Regional Council. MDA medics and paramedics arrived at the scene and found a 95-year-old man missing consciousness, and began to perform resuscitation operations on him, but had to pronounce him dead.
Emergency medicine medic at MDA, Gal Tsalach: "They led us to the pool area, and we saw the man lying unconscious.
We performed prolonged resuscitation operations on him that included massages and breathing, but in the end we had to pronounce him dead on the spot."
As I recall, last week an 11-year-old boy drowned at Charles Clair Beach in Tel Aviv, and was rushed to the Ichilov Hospital unconscious.
A few days before that, a 70-year-old man drowned in Haifa, and a day before that, an 83-year-old man drowned in Dor Beach.
