After a visit to the Markus Wasmeier open-air museum, an 85-year-old from Bad Aibling went missing.

The police are asking for information from the public.

Schliersee

- An 85-year-old from Bad Aibling has been missing since Tuesday, August 2nd.

According to the Miesbach police, the woman was last with friends in the Markus Wasmeier open-air museum in Schliersee.

From there she left around 1:30 p.m. in an unknown direction.

search measures are ongoing

According to the police, extensive search measures are currently underway.

"It is possible that she is walking home to Bad Aibling," the officials explain.

The woman is described as about 1.70 meters tall, with a normal stature and with a slightly stooped posture.

She has shoulder-length dark, graying hair and is said to be wearing dark blue pants and a dark blue top and black shoes.

The missing person also carried a scarf and a brown handbag.

Missing "good on foot"

The police write about the woman: "She is very good on foot, but could be disoriented under certain circumstances." The officers currently have no photo and no consent from relatives for a public search.

Therefore the name cannot be published.

Nevertheless, the officials ask the population for information by calling 110 or 08025/2990.
