The sums of wheat prices disbursed to farmers from the Agricultural Cooperative Bank and its branches in As-Suwayda Governorate have reached about 4 billion Syrian pounds since the start of the delivery of the current season’s crop to the grain receiving centers and the branch of the General Organization for Seed Multiplication to date.
The director of the bank in As-Suwayda, Engineer Naseem Hudaifa, told SANA reporter that the exchange operations were carried out in an easy manner and without delay, and according to the tables contained in the names of the farmers who supplied their crops to the grain receiving office and the branch of the General Organization for Seed Multiplication.
Hudaifa explained that the debt owed by farmers to the bank is being deducted in the event of its presence upon delivery of wheat prices, pointing out that the bank will continue to disburse wheat prices to farmers in the coming days.
The Cooperative Agricultural Bank in As-Suwayda began disbursing wheat prices to farmers for the current season on the twentieth of last June.
