The investigations into attempted killing and dangerous bodily harm in the violent altercation between two truck drivers on the A8 at Seehamer See are ongoing.
Now the police are looking for witnesses.
Weyarn
– How did the violent confrontation between two truck drivers on the A8 near Weyarn happen on Saturday, and who did what exactly?
The public prosecutor's office and the criminal police are trying to reconstruct this.
Now the police are looking for witnesses to clarify the circumstances of the crime.
As reported, two professional drivers - a 50-year-old from Ukraine and a 33-year-old from Belarus - are in custody after they attacked each other near the Seehamer See parking lot (Weyarn municipality) on Saturday.
The police are investigating the older man for attempted homicide and the younger man for causing serious bodily harm.
Campsite guests were surveyed
To clarify the circumstances of the crime, the officers at the responsible criminal police station in Miesbach questioned guests at the campsite on Seehamer See in Großseeham on Tuesday, the police headquarters in Oberbayern Süd announced.
The campsite is in the immediate vicinity of the crime scene.
The investigators are asking possible witnesses who have not yet been interviewed to report: Who was able to perceive the physical altercation or a possible preceding loud argument between people on the main street in Großseeham at the time of the crime at 4:50 p.m. on Saturday or in the time before?
Who can provide other relevant information?
Witnesses are asked to call the criminal police in Miesbach on 0 80 25 / 299 299.
The fact that the incident did not end worse is probably only due to the arrival of the police.
The officials saw how both men wrestled in the ditch and the 50-year-old choked the younger man violently.
Previously, the 33-year-old is said to have inflicted a serious injury on his opponent's larynx with a blow to the neck area.
