Handicrafts ranging from home sweets, crochet, accessories, beadwork, drawing and oregano art were presented by 20 girls and young women at the “Min Eden Ahla” bazaar, which was held today in the hall of Al-Khawaja Restaurant on the sea corniche in Tartous.
The Bazaar Organization, Najwa Younes, said in a statement to SANA that the aim of its establishment is to educate girls and young people, to invest time in a positive way in an effective and productive work for them and their society, and to pay attention to and support young energies and talents.
Dalia Al-Mokadam, who is involved in making homemade sweets, considered that her high school education did not prevent her from preparing some sweets to participate in the bazaar, as it is one of her favorite works, while her sister Fadia, a student of decoration engineering, saw that her goal in participating in crochet crafts and accessories was to introduce visitors to those works that she mastered about two years ago and marketed some of them. via social networking sites.
Sixth-grade student Suha Baghdadi found that her love for drawing was behind learning its origins and artistic tools, to present in this bazaar about 6 paintings inspired by nature, using watercolors and acrylics.
Sidra Ghazal learned the profession of making candles and introducing the appropriate colors and scents for each shape to present different and new forms with her second participation in the bazaar.
Engineer Mirna Youssef pointed out that she taught a number of young men and women the art of paper rolling because it is a distinct craft that requires accuracy and deliberation.
