Gauting, accident:

It must have been like in the film: construction workers shout and gesticulate to stop a car – that doesn't work, the car crashes into a hole.

This is what happened on Monday on Ammerseestrasse in Gauting.

According to Gauting's police chief Andreas Ruch, a Mercedes driver (59) from Weßling apparently did not perceive the blocking of Ammerseestraße as such, although it was "properly secured with appropriate warning beacons".

Efforts to build were unsuccessful.

"The woman then overlooked a lowering in the roadway across the entire width of the roadway caused by the construction site and drove into it with the front axle of her car," reported Ruch.

It's expensive, because the Mercedes was heavily damaged (damage: at least 15,000 euros).

The driver escaped with a fright and the car had to be towed away.

Leaked liquids were cleaned up by the construction workers.

Traubing, damage to property:

The Starnberg Police Inspectorate is looking for the unknown perpetrator who scratched two vehicles in Traubing between Saturday 10 p.m. and Monday 4 p.m.

The vehicles were parked on Riedstrasse and Lindemoosweg.

This caused property damage of around 3,000 euros to a gray Audi, the police said.

The officials assume damage of an estimated 2000 euros to a mobile home.

Anyone who can give information about the perpetrator should contact the police on telephone (0 81 51) 36 40.

Starnberg, fire brigade operations:

Martin horns have been unmistakable throughout the morning in Starnberg.

First it was a defective S-Bahn - more about that here -, then a fire alarm in the Starnberg high school.

A smoke detector had gone off in the school, and it also smelled like a fire.

The Starnberg, Berg, Pöcking and Leutstetten fire brigades could not determine a cause.

The next alarm came around 10 a.m. - the fire alarm system of the elementary school around the corner had been triggered during construction work.

Hanfeld, accident:

A woman from Starnberg (76) was slightly injured in a rear-end collision near Hanfeld on Monday afternoon at around 4:45 p.m.

According to the Starnberg police, she had to slow down her Skoda on the Hanfeld bypass shortly after the turnoff to Hanfeld - which a Gilchingerin (26) in her Smart behind recognized too late and drove into the Starnbergerin's Skoda.

According to the report, the person who caused the accident was not injured, but the Skoda driver complained of back pain, which is why she was taken to the hospital for clarification.

The Skoda was towed away with damage to the rear.

Monday, August 1st

Tutzing, sexual harassment:

The police arrested a 19-year-old man in Tutzing on Saturday who is suspected of sexually assaulting a 36-year-old woman.

The Fürstenfeldbruck criminal police have taken over the investigation.

The police were alerted on Saturday evening around 9 p.m.: The 36-year-old reported that she had been touched indecently against her will near the Tutzing train station.

She told the officers that she met a 19-year-old Pole that evening.

Later, the man then became intrusive in the vicinity of a kebab restaurant and touched her intimate area several times against her will, according to the criminal police.

The police then immediately launched a search, officials found the 19-year-old.

He was provisionally arrested.

At the request of the public prosecutor's office, an arrest warrant was issued against the man and pre-trial detention ordered.

Now the criminal police are looking for witnesses who have observed the events themselves or the people involved.

Anyone with information about the incident or the people involved should contact the police in Fürstenfeldbruck by calling (0 81 41) 61 20.

Gauting, theft:

Thanks to a video recording, a shoplifting in a Gautingen gas station on Münchener Strasse was quickly clarified on Sunday evening.

At around 10:30 p.m., an employee noticed that a whiskey bottle was missing – an initially unknown man had put it in his pocket at around 10:15 p.m., a review of the video recordings from the sales room revealed.

The perpetrator had been at the gas station with another man.

Since there was a good description, a Gauting police patrol found the two men on a park bench near the town hall.

According to the police, the open bottle was discovered, but an eleven centimeter long knife was also found in a backpack.

The owner (27) had 1.9 per mille, which is why the knife was secured.

Neither he nor his companion (32) spoke German, so it took a while

Krailling, accident:

A pedestrian was injured in an accident in Krailling on Monday.

According to the police, a woman from Krailling (34) rode her bike at around 9.10 a.m. on the shared footpath and cycle path on Paula-Anders-Weg.

At the same time, a Kraillinger (84) went for a walk there.

When the woman wanted to drive past him, she got stuck on the pedestrian with the right side of the handlebar - both fell.

The 84-year-old was taken to hospital in an ambulance with a suspected fracture of the nasal bone and injuries to his left forearm and left hand.
