Clinic worker discovers corpse in storage room - police contact the population

After the body was found in the storeroom of a clinic: the police are asking for information.

A body was discovered in a storage room in the hospital in Duisburg.

The clinic worker found the dead man.

He is said not to have been a patient at the clinic.

Duisburg – “Who is the dead man in the hospital storage room?” writes the Duisburg police on Twitter.

There is a big red question mark at the end of this question.

The police turned to the population with this rather unusual question.

Authorities were initially unable to identify the man.

The man did not have an ID with him.

A clinic worker discovered the body in a storeroom at a hospital.

The man had already been found on July 21, 2022 at around 4:20 a.m.

He wore a blue plaid shirt, turquoise t-shirt, green sweatpants and black sneakers.

Police estimate his age at over 60.

A large scar on the inside of the left upper arm with a transition to the armpit and chest is noticeable.

"According to the current status of the investigation, there is no suicide, accident or third-party negligence," said the police.

The man was also not a patient in the hospital.

According to the information, cleaning agents and equipment are stored in the room where the dead man was found.

The man is 1.81 meters tall, has blue-grey eyes and blond hair.

His figure is described as stocky.
