The planned construction area on the B 388 in Grünbach caused discussions in the Bockhorn municipal council.

Bockhorn - "We don't want it to look like the Poststadl in Erding afterwards." The object of horror in the Bockhorn municipal council is the planned construction area south of Benno-Scharl-Straße, i.e. federal highway 388, in Grünbach.

This borders directly on the area in the north, the traffic there naturally causes a lot of noise.

For this reason, the municipal administration has now presented a draft plan that provides for a so-called block development along the main road for noise protection reasons - a kind of protective wall for those whose houses are more towards the town center.

The new fire station is to be built at the junction with Graf-Seinsheim-Strasse.

"A noise protection report and a species protection investigation were initiated for the new planning area," Mayor Lorenz Angermaier explained to the council.

Grünbach construction area: Development plan adapted to expert reports

In order to achieve the best possible protection against the noise of the B 388, the draft of this new development plan was then adapted to the results of the report.

A block development could now noticeably reduce traffic noise, ultimately as a meter-high wall facing the street.

The disadvantage lies in the optics, hence the comparison of some councils with the Poststadl building at the Taufkirchen junction in the large district town.

However, the Bockhorn administration believes that it can offer enough attractive owner-occupied and social housing here in Grünbach on the south side of this building.

Grünbach construction area: massiveness should be taken

That this 100 meter long “wall” should definitely be interrupted in two or three places in order to take away some of the massiveness of the building was a suggestion made by some councilors that the majority liked.

Edeltraud Kaiser (FWG), for example, made it clear that the future of living can no longer lie solely in the development of single houses.

Her parliamentary colleague Annelie Hinterwimmer spoke out in favor of planting greenery on the building on the street side.

Franz Auer Jr.

(CSU) also advocated shops and “quiet small businesses” in this area, which is designated as a mixed-use area.

Finally, party friend Bernhard Stein would like to have a concept explained before an advance is made in the direction of the district's own housing construction company as a possible sponsor.

And Klaus Oehm (Grünbacher Liste) asked to what extent residents on the opposite side of the street could be affected: "The noise bounces off this block development and then also radiates towards the north."

Grünbach: New location for the fire brigade

The volunteer fire brigade Grünbach is not affected by this development.

You get an ideal location right at the intersection between the B 388 and Graf-Seinsheim-Strasse.

In this way, the rescue vehicles can quickly get to the place of action.

Of course, the fire department also gets larger premises.

Until now, she only had a much too small tool shed next to the church in the middle of town.

An originally planned turning hammer in the new settlement will be omitted because the owner of the property does not want his parcel to be included in the new development plan.

Like every development plan, this one will soon be available for inspection in the Bockhorn town hall.

Then authorities, organizations and residents can comment on it, can express possible fears, concerns or requests for additional information.

City Council: Decision with one dissenting vote

However, municipal councilor Oehm, who lives in the vicinity of this new building area, already expressed his displeasure at the meeting.

He was the only one who did not agree to the new draft development plan.
