Dog bites 17-year-old thigh – owner just runs away

In Königswinter, a teenager was bitten on the thigh by a dog.

The dog's owner simply got on a bus and drove away.

Königswinter – On Saturday, July 30, a 17-year-old pedestrian in Königswinter in the Rhein-Sieg district was bitten by a dog on the thigh.

According to police, the teenager sustained serious injuries.

However, the dog owner was anything but helpful – she just walked away with her dog.

Now the police are looking for witnesses, reports 24RHEIN.

According to the police, the incident happened around 5 p.m. at the Schulzentrum bus stop on Cleethorpeeser Platz.

"As the 17-year-old walked past the woman and her dog, the dog jumped on her and bit her in the thigh.

The woman then pulled the dog away," police said.

Instead of providing first aid and taking care of the injured person, the dog owner simply got on the 521 bus with her animal and left at 5:02 p.m. in the direction of Oberpleis.

The injured girl then went to a hospital, accompanied by her parents.

They then alerted the police, who have not yet been identified.

Now the investigators are looking for the suspected woman with the following personal description:

• About 70 years old

• Short curly gray hair

• Traveling with a dog (the shape of the head and stature resembles that of a shepherd dog, and the dog also had dark, short fur)

Incidentally, a similar incident also happened in Essen a few months ago – with a bad ending.

There, the police fired several shots at a Turkish shepherd dog because it had bitten a 12-year-old child and also attacked local police officers.

The dog eventually died from the gunshots.
