Miraculously, the attack ended with only a scratch on the boy's body.
In a post on Facebook, he told about the routine trip and how it ended, thus illustrating the nightmare that Yosh residents go through on the roads in the area. He attached to the post a photo of the interior of the vehicle after the impact under the title "Green lens in a sea of glass".
"Yesterday they threw a stone. At me and the children," he said in the post.
"We were in the car on the way home and a stone was thrown at us. We were going after Neve Tsuf towards the west. A big stone. The sun was in front of us. The boy was eating lentils and talking to me about a gummy popsicle and the girl was just starting to fall asleep. The noise was loud and the children were frightened and cried terribly and the window of the car next to the boy was completely shattered And the car is full of glass. I was afraid they would shoot so I told them to duck. Then I thought, what's the point of ducking.
"I realized it was a stone. I told them, everything will be fine, I'll just drive fast and stop in a safe place, but there is no safe place" he recalled the difficult moments.
"They already know it. All the children in this country already know it. You can race the car like that west to the Mediterranean Sea and keep diving into it like a fictional ship and there is no safe place."
"We stopped in the bay by a station and I called the police. She and the army came, checked and asked again and again checked and asked again. "In the evening we sat together and the boy said he doesn't want to drive on this road anymore but the road is the way home. To mom's house and dad's house.
