Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has urged the West to fight Vladimir Putin by choking off Moscow's vital exports.
KIEV - "All nations of the world should understand that they are members of the anti-Putin coalition," former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said in an interview with the US news magazine

"Putin should be completely isolated with such great nations and great democracies as North Korea, Iran, Syria and Belarus."
Only joint action by the world can stop the Ukraine war and prevent the fighting from continuing.
The ex-president sees a number of starting points for defeating Putin.
Poroshenko therefore called on Ukraine's international partners to impose their own blockade of Russian ports and prevent Russian exports.

Several criminal proceedings are currently ongoing.
