Police said they received a report at 3:21 p.m. that a man surnamed Wong (59) was attacked by a knifeman on an unnamed road outside a mahjong house on Yiu Hing Road. The reason is unknown.
He suffered injuries to his hands and back, and he was soberly taken to Eastern District Hospital by ambulance.
The case was listed as wounding, and was handed over to the Eastern District Police District Anti-Triad Action Team for follow-up.
