In addition to the five departments previously on orange alert (Pyrénées-Orientales, Ardèche, Gard, Vaucluse, Drôme), 22 other departments are now affected by the sharp rise in temperatures: Haute-Garonne, Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne, Lot- et-Garonne, Lot, Corrèze, Puy-de-Dôme, Loire, Rhône, Haute-Loire, Isère, Haute-Savoie, Savoie, Ain, Saône-et-Loire, Côte-d'Or, Jura, Doubs, Territory of Belfort, Haute-Saône, Haut-Rhin and Bas-Rhin.
